I really loved the first Dirt game, but wasn't so keen on the way the others felt so I'm looking forward to this.

Taking this QL from coast to coast, baby!

Aw yes, I've wanted the dirt games to go more in the rally direction for quite some time now.

Coast to coast is very cool.

Man, it comes across as though they're all in the same room. I'm in awe of the behind the scenes production/logistics of this QL. Great stuff.

You really wouldn't know they're on opposite sides of the country, it's that good. I wonder if this is tech that could convince Jeff to change his 'no Skype bombcast guests' stance. Need more Vinny Status since we got spoiled last week (assuming they could work out scheduling with the time zones, too.)

@jeff You guys should do this more often. It comes off SOO well. You would never know they're not in the same room and the chemistry is there. Having just Vinny and Alex be in the same quick looks over and over can get a bit boring, and this one was super entertaining.

Pretty sure this won't change jeff's mind about things but this worked pretty well. Also pretty sure they studio recorded drew and synched it up that way to avoid the skype feel.

I would not brag about Prince Andrew visiting your school @drewbert, considering recent news.

Cool, a new codemasters rally game without all the Ken Block BS, I really loved the early Collin McRea games so it's cool to see them go a bit more old school codies instead of all the gymkhana X-Games crap that was in the last few Dirt games, really hoping this makes it to consoles in some shape or form even though the market for these games is probably pretty small there.

Also, rewind function = Tarmac run off areas.

You haven't even played this have you? This IS a simulation game, a first for codemasters. Also Dirt 3 was the worst of all the Colin Mcrae/Dirt games, excluding Showdown.

@drewbert How are you guys pulling this off? How are you getting around the delay in video? This coast to coast quicklook is more technically impressive than Dirt Rally!

Wow, Codemasters can sure make a pretty game. I like how it's visually as stunning as their previous games but more subtle.

@pepeman: The "racing line" of the tire tracks in the roads is a really good touch. It's distinct enough to easily follow, but fits right in visually.

This looks great, hopefully it comes to consoles at some point because my increasingly aging PC would not cope with this.
