Seems like Jeff is cruising through the levels at a nice pace. A bit bummed out we didn't see him tackling a boss because that's the part where he really had to change his gamestyle.

If i look at my Dark Souls playthrough i played pretty much similar to Jeff. The lesser enemies are not such a big deal if you leash them one or two at the time. But when you get to an enemy, you actually have to pay attention to the game and play patiently.

God dammit, I refreshed the chat page for the last 10 minutes, because I thought this was going to be live. Oh well.

It was true back when Demon's Souls was released. Rewatch some of the content from back then. I seem to recall Ryan trying Dark Souls out but not really getting into it, the rest of the staff were actively dismissing it. It was more than a year - maybe even two years - after Dark Souls' release that Brad and Patrick finally tried it and got what they were about.

You're told the password when you touch the skull at the altar in Amelia's room. There are some pleasant revelations when you do that on subsequent playthroughs, the lore starts to come together.

While it doesn't affect me as I'm a premium member, I do think it's kind of shitty to make this a premium feature considering they did those Dark Soul 2 check in videos for free.

Doing this live would be kind of rough as chat would just be full of advice no one asked for. Glad Jeff is still messing around with this!

I think the reason the later villager/hunter guys are tougher is the bell ladies have a buff on them. When you kill the bell ladies they start dying in fewer hits again.

Also I think the "boost to transform" synergizes with the beast pellets (damage increases with subsequent hits).

I feel like Jeff goes through Bloodborne like Dan goes through life.

In this video, Jeff is almost at the exact same point I am. This is were I quit progressing. The amount of bull crap over powered the amount of fun around this point. I am level 72 and I have only gone about half way through the forest.

Where's Dan? This could have been Jeff checking in with Brad and Dan, which would have been nice.

I like this type of content where a staffer would play a game they normally wouldn't usually play (e.g. Dan introducing Drew to MGS and now with Brad/Jason helping Jeff on Bloodborne). What's next?

It's going to be tough, but I'm going to have to skip this for now. They'll definitely show off a new area I haven't been yet despite recognising the thumbnail. Damn it. I should play quicker.
